Terms of service
Quitar o agregar Blindaje usted mismo.
5. Plan anual y referidos
Plan anual: paga 10 meses y lleva 12.
MAUDI usa inteligencia artificial.
10. A quién NO le ofrecemos MAUDI
No ofrecemos MAUDI a:
20. Contacto
Escríbanos a hola@zomau.com. Contestamos.
MAUDI Terms of Service Effective date: September 28, 2026
1. Who provides the service
MAUDI is a product of Zomau LLC, a Texas company ("Zomau", "we", "us"). Address: 5900 Balcones Drive, Suite 100, Austin, Texas 78731, United States. Contact email: hola@zomau.com. We answer by email; there is no support phone line yet.
"You" means the business that subscribes to MAUDI and the person authorized to act for it.
By subscribing to or using MAUDI, you accept these terms.
2. What MAUDI is
MAUDI is an AI operations assistant for small businesses. It receives the messages that come into your business, sorts them, classifies them, and drafts a written reply for you to review.
With the voice receptionist (included in your plan), MAUDI also answers your business phone in Spanish and English: it shares what you loaded in your catalog, texts the caller your booking link, transfers the call to your cell when it makes sense, and leaves you the summary.
And with Get paid over WhatsApp you create a link for your customer to pay by card. That charge happens in the BUSINESS's own Stripe account, not ours: the money goes straight to your bank, zomau never touches it, and we take no commission on it. Stripe's fees and any disputes are yours, exactly as if you had opened the account on your own.
Messages can arrive by: email, your website form, text messages (SMS), WhatsApp, Instagram direct messages, missed-call transcripts, and reviews you paste in by hand. Voice notes that arrive by WhatsApp or Instagram are transcribed and come in as text. When someone writes, MAUDI alerts your phone (an app notification; if alerts are not turned on, a text to your cell when your business number can send texts, and otherwise an email).
MAUDI is not a lawyer, an accountant, a financial advisor, or a doctor. What it writes is a draft business communication, nothing more.
3. You approve. Always.
This is the most important rule of the service:
MAUDI drafts. You approve. Once you approve, the message is yours.
Nothing leaves your business without your approval, with these exceptions only. They are fixed templates written by people (not by the AI). The ones that send messages (1, 3, 4, 5 and 6) all stop when you pause MAUDI; the voice receptionist keeps answering calls, but while paused it does not text the booking link:
- An appointment reminder the day before. If the person did not check the consent box when booking and has not texted first, no text is sent: the reminder goes by email, if one was provided. If the person answers that reminder, MAUDI replies with a fixed template too: it thanks them if they confirm or, if they ask to change the appointment, offers the open times from your calendar. The appointment is never moved or canceled without you; you get the notice.
- What the voice receptionist SAYS during a call: there is no time to approve anything mid-call. It does not send messages on its own; it speaks and, if the caller asks for your booking link and agrees to get it by text, sends that single message to the number they are calling from (consent given verbally during the call).
- The "got it, I will get back to you shortly" acknowledgement by WhatsApp, Instagram or text, which only goes out if you have the mode below turned on.
- The waitlist: when someone asked to be told if a time opens up (on your booking page, or because you added them), MAUDI lets them know by email with a fixed template when a time that works for them opens up and, if they reply yes, books it just as if they had picked it on your booking page, and confirms it. If they reply no, or REMOVE, it tells them they are still on the list or that they were taken off. It never offers anyone the same time twice, or more than five offers. You get the notice for every appointment taken.
- The one-tap survey by email after an appointment that already happened, if you turn it on: one email per appointment, at most one a month to the same person, only to someone who left an email, and with how to unsubscribe.
- The Google review request the day after a completed appointment, if you entered your Google listing and the switch is on (it comes on; turn it off in Settings): a fixed note with the link to your listing, once per person, by WhatsApp if the person talked to you there or otherwise by email; never by text.
The "MAUDI answers on its own" mode. It is a switch in your dashboard (Settings; SYSTEM in the classic dashboard) that you turn on or off whenever you want. When on, MAUDI sends routine replies instantly (information, hours, prices from your catalog, how to book) by WhatsApp, Instagram, text and email, and leaves the sensitive ones (complaints, money, things it does not know, any message with sensitive data) in your approval queue. Everything it sends stays in your history marked "replied on its own". You decide whether to turn it on, and what MAUDI sends in that mode counts as sent by your business, just as if you had approved it.
The "we saw your call" text is turned off until we register verbal opt-in with the carriers. Meanwhile the voicemail is recorded, transcribed, and lands in your queue for you to answer.
You can pause the entire system with one button. While paused, MAUDI sends nothing.
Text messages sent to your business's customers follow the MAUDI messaging program, which has its own terms at https://maudi.ai/sms: explicit consent through an unchecked checkbox, variable frequency, carrier rates, STOP and HELP, and no use of the number for marketing or promotional purposes.
4. Price and billing
- $127 per month, voice receptionist included.
- $97 per month if you already have another active zomau product (the "zomau bundle": $30 less per month for having two or more products). If you cancel that other product, the price goes back to $127 per month.
- No setup fee. MAUDI's initial configuration is included.
Redes (add-on). $77 per month, flat price: it does not count toward the zomau bundle and does not change MAUDI's price. Every week it leaves three posts for your Instagram (copy in Spanish and English, hashtags and an image made with artificial intelligence, or the photos you upload) and up to 4 videos a month. Nothing is posted unless you approve it. AI-made images and videos are illustrations, not photos of your business; you decide whether to post them and you are responsible for what you approve. Instagram may label them as AI-made content.
Remove or add Blindaje yourself. From your panel (Settings → Your bundle) you can remove or add Blindaje at any time. When you remove it, Blindaje turns off that same day, the unused part of the month is credited on your next invoice and MAUDI goes back to $127 per month. When you add it, only the proportional part of the current month is charged and MAUDI drops to $97 per month. MAUDI itself is not changed there: it can only be cancelled in full (section 6).
Your first 14 days are free. When you sign up you enter your card on Stripe's secure screen, but you pay $0 today. The first charge is on day 15. If you cancel before that day, nothing is charged. The free trial is one per business. Galaxia: on the day you sign up you pay only the build ($150, one time). Galaxia's monthly fee starts when you approve your site from your panel, or on day 15 at the latest.
After the trial, billing is automatic, on the same day each month, using the payment method you register. Prices are in U.S. dollars and do not include taxes. We charge none today; if the law requires it later, we notify you before adding it.
If a charge fails, we notify you and give you 7 days to update your payment method before the service is suspended.
We may change the price going forward with at least 30 days' notice. If the new price does not work for you, cancel before it takes effect and you will not be charged.
5. Yearly plan and referrals
Yearly plan: pay 10 months, get 12. If you choose the yearly plan, the 14 free days apply the same way, and on day 15 you are charged the full year in a single payment (the monthly price times 10). The service is then paid for 12 months. It renews automatically every year with the same payment method unless you cancel before the renewal date. Once the yearly charge is made, there is no refund: the service keeps running until the year you already paid for ends.
Referrals: one month free for both. If a new business signs up on your recommendation, once its payment is confirmed you both get one month free: on the monthly plan, the next invoice comes out at $0; if the new business chose the yearly plan, its yearly charge comes out one month cheaper; if the person referring is on the yearly plan, their year is extended by one month at no cost. To count, the person referring must be an active zomau customer and the new business must sign up through that person's personal link or enter that person's email when signing up. Nobody can refer themselves, and a business can be referred only once. zomau reviews every referral and may withdraw the free month from both if it was not real. Free months apply one per invoice; they do not stack on the same invoice.
6. No long-term contract
There is no forced contract. There is no penalty for leaving.
To cancel, use your panel (Settings → Billing and cancel —SYSTEM in the classic dashboard—, which opens Stripe's secure portal) or email us at hola@zomau.com at least 5 days before your next billing date. If Blindaje is on the same subscription, it is cancelled with it. Your service keeps running through the period you already paid for (the month, or the year on the yearly plan). We do not refund partial months or years already charged.
7. Usage limits
Your plan includes, per month:
- 100 processed documents. A document is each attachment (PDF or image) that MAUDI reads in order to understand what is being requested.
- Voice minutes: 300 a month included. Each extra minute costs $0.35 and is added to your next invoice; we email you at 250 and when you pass 300. The counter resets on the 1st of each month.
Plain text messages (email, SMS, WhatsApp, web form) do not count as documents.
If you go over the limit: we tell you. You can either (a) raise your plan by talking to us, or (b) wait for the next month, when the counter resets. We do not cut off your service abruptly for going over once.
We also ask for reasonable use. MAUDI is built for the normal volume of a small business. It is not for bulk sending, cold email campaigns, or resale to third parties.
8. You are responsible for what you approve (and for what the "answers on its own" mode sends)
MAUDI uses artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence makes mistakes. It can misread a message, state a wrong price, invent a detail, or promise something you cannot deliver.
That is why the system asks for your approval before sending.
When you approve a message, you confirm that you read it and agree with what it says. That message becomes a communication from your business, in your name and under your responsibility — exactly as if you had written it yourself.
We are not responsible for commitments, prices, promises, deadlines, or statements that you approve and send.
Read before you approve. Especially prices, dates, addresses, and anything that sounds like a guarantee.
9. Data that must not travel through these channels
Email, text messages, WhatsApp and Instagram are not secure channels for financial information.
You agree not to request through these channels, and not to invite your customers to send through them:
- Credit or debit card numbers.
- Bank account or routing numbers.
- Social Security numbers or ITINs.
- Driver's license numbers.
MAUDI has a filter that detects and hides those kinds of numbers before a message is processed (explained in the Privacy Notice). That filter is a safety net, not a permission slip. No filter is perfect. If you need to collect payment, use a secure payment link.
10. Who we do NOT offer MAUDI to
We do not offer MAUDI to:
- Clinics, medical offices, dentists, therapists, psychologists, labs, or any business that handles patient health information. Reason: that information is protected by the federal HIPAA law, and HIPAA requires a chain of signed agreements (Business Associate Agreements) with every technology vendor involved. That chain of agreements is not in place for MAUDI. Telling you plainly is more honest than accepting you and putting you at risk.
- Debt collection and collection agencies. That activity is separately regulated and MAUDI is not designed to meet those rules.
If you subscribe to MAUDI for one of these industries without telling us, we may close the account immediately. And even if we do not, responsibility for that use is yours, not ours.
11. The "do not contact" list
If a person asks not to be contacted again, they are blocked in the database. The system refuses to send to them even if you approve the message.
This cannot be turned off. It protects that person, and it protects you.
12. Your domain and your website
Your business's internet domain is purchased in your name. You are the registered owner.
If you ever leave MAUDI, you take your domain with you. We do not hold it, we do not hold it hostage, and we do not charge you to release it.
Your business content (your text, photos, logo, customers) is yours. The MAUDI software, its design, and its code are ours; you have the right to use them while you are subscribed, not to copy or resell them.
13. Third-party services
MAUDI runs on services from other companies: Anthropic (the AI that classifies and drafts), Google (the AI that transcribes WhatsApp and Instagram voice notes, the dashboard voice, the Redes images and the Google Maps listings), Supabase (the database), Vercel (the servers), Resend (outbound email), Twilio (text messages, calls and voicemail transcription), Meta (WhatsApp and Instagram), Stripe (billing your subscription), Cloudflare and a Google mailbox (where your business email comes in), and your phone's notification service (Apple, Google or Mozilla, depending on the browser). The Privacy Notice explains what each one does.
If one of those services fails, goes down, or changes its rules, MAUDI is affected. We do our best to warn you and fix it, but we do not control those platforms.
14. Availability
We work to keep MAUDI available, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. No honest provider can guarantee that.
There may be interruptions for maintenance, third-party outages, or causes outside our control. When we can give advance notice, we will.
The service is provided "as is". We do not promise that MAUDI will bring you more customers, more sales, or any specific business result.
15. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows:
- We are not liable for lost profits, lost customers, reputational harm, or indirect damages.
- Our total liability, for any cause, will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the problem.
This limit does not apply to what the law does not allow us to limit, such as fraud or willful misconduct on our part.
16. When we can close your account
We may suspend or close the service if you do not pay, use MAUDI for anything illegal, use it for spam or bulk sending, or use it in one of the industries excluded in section 10.
Except in serious or illegal cases, we notify you first and give you a chance to fix it. If we close your account, we give you 30 days to export your data.
17. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of Travis County, Texas (where Zomau LLC is domiciled).
Before going to court, both sides agree to try to resolve the matter in writing, in good faith, for at least 30 days.
18. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. When we do:
- We publish the new version with its date.
- If the change is significant (price, limits, liability), we email you at least 30 days in advance.
- If you disagree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
Continuing to use MAUDI after that date means you accept the new version.
19. Small but necessary items
- If a court voids part of these terms, the rest stays in force.
- Not enforcing something once does not waive our right to enforce it later.
- You may not transfer your account to another person or company without our written permission.
- These terms, together with the Privacy Notice, are the entire agreement between us.
